PENNY CIRCUS / Dr. Sinn's Freak Island Musical Sideshow

$8 adv / $10 dos
Tyler Sutter and Carl Skenes are the 20 Penny Circus, a diabolical Florida clown duo that performs feats of magic and insane stunts in a vaudevillian manner with a fresh modern flair. Their show is a high-energy, modern take on vaudeville, with captivating stunts and hilarious character dynamic. They are two attractive gentlemen in their mid-20s, and wiith their unconventional humor and witty banter, they have been called “charmingly abrasive" while delivering a fresh new style of captivating entertainment. Backed with a soundtrack that is sure to rock faces, Acts include deadly Sword Swallowing, Ritualized mutilation, instantaneous teleportations, and testing the limits of the human body.

This magic, circus sideshow, and comedy act has been a huge draw in the South Eastern United States. They were a main attraction at Universal Studios Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights. They have been headliners for the IMPROV comedy clubs in florida for the past 3 years. They hosted the headlining, Sell-out show "Cirque Du Fringe" at a NY International Fringe Festival. Returning to NY in 2014 as double headliners, they wrote and hosted “Cirque du Fringe Mardis Gras!” and a special, and again sell-out, 20 Penny Circus adult show, cementing their reputation as the “Faces of Fringe”.

DICK DALE / Endless Pools / The Howleez

$30 adv
GUITAR LEGEND DICK DALE most famous for his 1963 song "Misorlou", the theme song to PULP FICTION, and recently sampled by BLACK EYED PEAS (now several times platinum). Dick Dale wasn't nicknamed "King of the Surf Guitar" for nothing: he pretty much invented the style single-handedly, and no matter who copied or expanded upon his blueprint, he remained the fieriest, most technically gifted musician the genre ever produced. The breakneck speed of his single-note staccato picking technique was unrivalled until it entered the repertoires of metal virtuosos like Eddie Van Halen, and his wild showmanship made an enormous impression on the young Jimi Hendrix. But those aren't the only reasons Dale was once called the father of heavy metal.

KRS-ONE

$18 adv / $21 dos
Living Hip Hop Legend right here in Gainesville !

KRS, an acronym for ““Knowledge Reigning Supreme”, has been called the “conscience of Hip Hop” (Rolling Stone), “the greatest live emcee ever” (The Source), the “spokesperson for Hip Hop” (Wall Street Journal), “master teacher” (Zulu Nation) and the “son of Hip Hop” (Kool DJ Herc). With 20 published albums to his credit and his numerous appearances with other artists, KRS-One is believed to have written the most rhymes in Hip Hop’s history.

Every culture produces its own “keeper”. Every culture produces its own principles, its own history, its own advocates, and its own prophet pointing the way to a higher quality of life. For the urban-street culture known in the world today as “Hip Hop”, KRS-One is all of the above. Appearing on the rap scene in 1986 as Boogie Down Productions releasing his first hit single “South Bronx” with his late DJ Scott La Rock, KRS “the one” made it clear that Hip Hop was going to have to take itself a lot more seriously than simply being a music genre.
